In a filing with the Oslo bourse the Jones Act product tanker owner said Dag Fasmer Wittusen purchased 200,000 shares at a cost of NOK 42.97 ($6.32) a piece.
This means the executive, which acquired the stock by way of his private investment vehicle, spent nearly NOK 8.6m in total.
According to regulatory filings Wittusen now controls more than 313,000 shares, which represents a stake of roughly 0.52%.
