Credit Suisse has become a key investor in Danaos Corp, taking second place to top stakeholder Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
The Geneva-based financial services firm has bought 13.3 million common units of the John Coustas-led containership player, according to an SEC filing.
The investment cost $11.2m, based on the company's shares closing down 5.6% today to $0.84.
