CLdN-Cobelfret group has emerged as a stakeholder in Euronav at a time when the tanker heavyweight is sitting on a vast war chest.
Chateauban, a holding company related to the Luxembourg bulker and ro-ro owner, now holds 5.15% of Euronav’s voting rights, a statement says.
While Euronav states simply that the investment has been announced after Chateauban crossed the 5% threshold, it is not known previously known to have held any interest in the company.
