The Kuala Lumpur-listed shipbuilder and charterer reported a30% hike in net profit to MYR 39.5m ($12.2m) for the three months to 30 September from MYR30.5m a year earlier.
Revenue for the period rose by 10% to MYR 194.7m from MYR 177.1mas Coastal handed over six newbuildings compared to three during the thirdquarter of 2012.
The company also made gains on the disposal of vessels fromits chartering division.
