Shanghai-listed China Merchants Energy Shipping is getting a fresh identity.
In a regulatory disclosure, the subsidiary of state-owned China Merchants Group revealed that its directors had agreed to rename the company China Merchants Shipping.
It added that the new name is to reflect how the business is not only involved in liquid shipping but also in transporting other cargo.
