Higher interest charges hit India’s Bharati Shipyard in the third quarter as net profit sank.

The builder did, however, manage to increase sales appreciably but was also undone by higher operating expenses.



Net profit for the three months to the end of December was INR 231.6m ($5.09m) as against INR 329.3m a year earlier.



This was despite revenues going in the opposite direction from INR 3.37bn
