Cruise giant Carnival Corp is expecting to post a loss for its fiscal year, thanks to the coronavirus outbreak that caused it to suspend operations earlier this month.
"The corporation believes the ongoing effects of Covid-19 on its operations and global bookings will have a material negative impact on its financial results and liquidity," it said in its first-quarter earnings statement released after the close on Thursday.
