Norway's Brovig has finally returned to profit with its tanker division now focused on its four stainless-steel vessels on long-term charter to chemical tanker group Stolt-Nielsen.

Brovig's holding company Gezina is making money for the first time since 2009, after seven years of losses.

Gezina has lost NOK 370m ($46m) since 2009, mostly on write-downs at subsidiary Brovigtank.

The holding company made a pre-tax profit of NOK 6m last year, against a loss of NOK 2m in 2016.
