CJSC Baltstroy has commissioned the EUR 130m ($175.5m) job which involvesbuilding a 6 kilometre long shipping channel for the Bronka facility in StPetersburg.
The project is due to kick-off next spring and is expectedto be completed late in 2015 by which time around 16 million cubic meters of earthwill have been shifted using various dredgers.
Bronka is being built to boost container throughput capacityin the St Petersburg region.
