Monaco investment fund HAL Holding has succeeded with a higher €2.28bn ($2.29bn) takeover offer for Dutch contracting and shipowning giant Boskalis.
The companies have agreed on a new offer price of €33 per share after months of talks following an initial approach of €32.50 in March.
Existing shareholder HAL has 46.5%
