Bjorn Tore Larsen has placed gender equality at the top of the agenda after taking back the chief executive’s chair at OSM Maritime.
Founder Larsen replaced Geir Sekkesaeter in post last week with the change explained by the former Wilhelmsen and Teekay man wanting a more hands on role.
Larsen said in a statement today a healthier gender balance will help shipping in the quest for long-term success and commercial sustainability.
