Bimco says it is reviewing its standard bunkering contract in order to prevent any repeats of the OW Bunker fiasco.
To that end, it has called together representatives from major bunker suppliers, shipowners, a protection and indemnity (P&I) club and legal firm to draft potential changes to the contract.
Representatives of World Fuel Supplies and Dan Bunkering will meet with those of Denmark-based J Lauritzen and Norden to review the contract, known as Bimco Terms 2015.
