The Oslo-listed firm has agreed a NOK 65m ($10.6m) deal for twosubsidiaries in Kirkenes, it said today in an exchange filing.
Offloading Bergen Group Kimek andBergen Group Kimek Offshore is part of the consolidation, begun earlierthis year, of the company’s offshore operations under common management in asingle base in Hanoytangen, near Bergen.
“The Kimek companies form a very exciting resource inconnection with the increasing level of offshore activity expected by themarket in Northern Norway,” said Bergen Group CEO Asle Solheim.
