AP Moller-Maersk stock recovered some lost ground today after a meeting between US president Donald Trump and EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker struck a more positive note on global trade.
The Danish shipping giant’s B shares were trading up around 5% this morning and have been one of the top performers in Copenhagen today.
Today’s upturn comes at a time when Maersk shares have found themselves popular with short sellers looking to profit from uncertainty an escalating trade war.
