Depressed shipping markets are not expected to spring back strongly in the short-term but Clarksons is seeing increased signs of an improvement over a longer period.
Andi Case, chief executive of the world’s largest shipbroker, believes overcapacity issues are starting to ease.
“No question, in certain markets there are choppy waters to continue to navigate through,” he said.
