Australian owner Wellard is to close its doors after nearly five decades following the sale of its last ship.
The company said on Tuesday that it had agreed a disposal of its 13,500-dwt livestock carrier Ocean Drover (built 2002) for $50m.
The proceeds will be returned to shareholders.
