A buyer’s market is building in wide parts of the dry bulk sale-and-purchase scene, as the number of supramaxes and panamaxes offered to potential buyers has increased sharply over the past weeks.
Forty-three bulkers were circulated for sale in September, compared with 35 in September last year, according to data from brokers’ reports compiled by TradeWinds.
At first sight, the latest figure does not sound particularly impressive.
