Farstad Shipping has been awarded a long-term contract for one of its modern construction support vessels.

Total E&P Congo has hired the 9,200-dwt Far Sleipner (built 2015) for 18 months to support its subsea activities in Congo.

The contract will commence in the fourth quarter, and Total has six extension options of two months each.
