Taiwan based bulker owner Eddie Steamship has purchased an unfinished ultramax bulker from Blue Planet Shipping of Greece.
The 64,000-dwt ship, which is set for delivery from Jiangsu Hongqiang in August this year is understood to have gone for $23.3m.
UK-based online platform VesselsValue says the ship is worth just $19.1m.
Neither Eddie Steamship nor Blue Planet responded to requests for comments.
