The niece of Bourbon's CEO and chairman Jacques de Chateauvieux is the French offshore giant's new CFO.
Astrid de Breon will join on 1 February following the recommendation of the nominating, compensations and governance committee.
She will leave the board at the same time.
De Breon is the daughter of Henri de Chateauvieux, Jacques' brother, who has 7.6% of the shipowner.
A graduate of the ESSEC Business School, the 37-year-old has previously worked at BNP Paribas, first as a project manager for finance management and then head of corporate strategy.
