A Wisdom Marine Lines handysize bulker has lifted the first cargo of potash from K+S Potash Canada’s (KSPC) Bethune mine.
The 34,400-dwt Daiwan Champion (built 2015) was loaded with 30,000t of potash bound for unspecified customers in Asia.
It was loaded at KSPC’s handling and storage facility at Pacific Coast Terminals (PCT) in Port Moody, British Columbia which can take up to panamax size bulkers.
