Rio Tinto has reported a 13% quarter-on-quarter decline in iron ore exports as bad weather caused delays to its mining and export operations.
The Australian mining giant shipping 76.7mt in the first three months of 2017, according to figures released Thursday.
“Ship loading was impacted by cyclone activity during the period, and sections of the rail network were affected by significant rainfall,” Rio Tinto said.
