Berge Bulk has confirmed that Vale has reopened its iron ore export berths at the Tubarao port complex in Brazil.
The Singapore-based shipowner said that its 388,138-dwt VLOC Berge Everest (built 2011) departed the terminal on Tuesday fully loaded bound for Asia.
Last week a Brazilian federal court ordered Vale to suspend activities at the port over concerns relating to dust from operations polluting the surrounding areas.
