United Ocean Group is taking offers for the one of its newest bulkers in a closely watched sale process that could test values for modern Japanese-built kamsarmaxes.
The Singapore shipowner is seeking to sell the 81,900-dwt United Prestige (built 2014), two brokers said. Offers are due on Monday.
The company, which controls a fleet of 30 vessels and one newbuilding, could not be immediately reached to confirm.
