UK P&I Club has raised the alarm over terrorist groups operating along the south coast of the Philippines, causing problems for the nickel ore business.
The problem is especially focused on cargoes loaded at Mindanao, where shippers and mines are not allowing any access to these facilities.
There are numerous reports of bombings and kidnappings in the area along with the death of one Canadian mine manager.
