Star Bulk has continued to lock in period employment for its vessels in a rising market.
US-listed Star Bulk has fixed out the 82,600-dwt Star Markella (built 2007) for 12 months at $12,500 per day to EGPN, the Baltic Exchange reports.
The charter comes with the Baltic Dry Index pushing up from three-year highs on Monday.
