Star Bulk Carriers said it plans to commit nine capesize vessels to a newly hatched chartering pool.
As reported in TradeWinds, the Capesize Chartering Ltd (CCL) pool will consist of 65 capesize vessels, managed out of Antwerp and Singapore. The pool’s founding members include Star Bulk, Bocimar International, Golden Ocean Group and C Transport Holding.
Star Bulk said the capesizes previously traded in the spot market.
