On Monday, the brokerage’s Stamford, Connecticut-based offshoot announced plans to merge with Lalemant USA of White Plains, New York.
When the deal is sealed on 1 January 2014 the firms say their combined offices will trade under the name SSY USA.
In a joint statement, John Bamford, managing partner of SSY USA, and Peter Drummond, managing partner of Lalemant USA, said they are confident that the alliance will enable them to provide a “broader service” to their clients.
