Algoma Central Corporation chief executive Ken Bloch Soerensen has quit the Canadian shipowner with immediate effect.
Current chief operating officer Gregg Ruhl has been named as his replacement and will assume that role immediately.
He joined Algoma in April 2015 and was charged with “redefining the strategic focus of the company” to include growth markets beyond North America.
