Korea's SK Shipping has reportedly sealed a deal to order two VLOCs in China to service a charter to Vale.
Brokers said two 325,000-dwt "mini-Valemax" bulkers have been contracted at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co (DSIC) for delivery in March and May 2021.
The news comes on the same day Taiwan's U-Ming inked a deal for two similar VLOCs in China for a 25-year COA with Vale.
