Japan’s Shinwa Naiko Kaiun more-than doubled net profit in the first half as sales increased.
The coastal bulker owner is also looking forward to an even stronger second period albeit with an expected year-on-year drop in profit.
Net profit for the six months to the end of September was JPY 126m ($1.56m) as against JPY 51m a year earlier.
This was down to a large increase in revenues from JPY 6.71bn
