Today Scorpio Services Holding announced it had taken 500,000 shares at $1.78 each.
The $800,000 deal follows a swoop for one million shares at the end of July.
Scorpio Services now holds a 5.4% slice of the company worth in excess of $32m.
Monarch Alternative Capital is the largest shareholder in Scorpio Bulkers and has adopted an aggressive stance of late, calling for further asset sales to fund buybacks and board representation, among other demands.
