SDTR of Singapore has made another effort to expand its bulker fleet, emerging as the force behind an order for a pair of kamxarmax bulkers in China.
The Singapore company, a joint venture between China’s Shandong Shipping and Singapore’s Transcenden Global, said it has bareboat chartered the 82,000-dwt bulkers ordered at Jinling Shipyard by Avic International Leasing.
The company, in which Shandong is the major shareholder, did not reveal details of the charters.
