Scorpio Bulkers struck deals to tie up three bulkers on period charters lasting at least five months.
The New York-listed bulker owner said that it chartered out the 61,300-dwt SBI Achilles (built 2016) for $11,000 per day.
The deal, the longest of the three, will last six to eight months.
Another ultramax, the 61,600-dwt SBI Leo (built 2015), will earn $9,000 per day for a five to seven-month fixture.
