In a statement the Greek owner said RWE fixed the 179,400-dwt Santa Barbara (built 2015) for up to 14 months at a rate of $12,000 per day, less a 5% commission paid to third parties.
The operator also pointed out that the vessel is poised to generate nearly $4m in gross revenue over the next 11 months, which is the minimum duration of the deal.
