In a daily industry briefing analysts at DNB Markets said day rates havebottomed out, at least for now, and noted fundamentals in the dry-bulk spaceare, generally speaking, looking good.
“Specifically, we see favourablefundamentals in the Chinese steel sector and good performance on iron oreexports from Australia,” the Oslo-based researchers explained.
“All in all we believe the dry bulk spotrates, in particular for the larger sizes, should increase from here.”
