Pirates have hijacked another cargoship off Somalia as the threat of attacks rises.
The Pakistan-owned Salama 1 was carrying food when it was seized off El Hur in central Somalia on Tuesday.
Abdillahi Ahmed Ali, mayor of Hobyo, confirmed the incident to Voice of America.
The number of crew on board is not known.
An Indian cargo dhow was hijacked on 1 April and is now near Hobyo.
