Pioneer Freight Futures has won a court victory over Nobu Su’s TMT Asia but it is rather an academic outcome as the parties resolved their differences in a confidential settlement before the judgment.
High court judge Dame Elizabeth Gloster however went ahead with a ruling that meant Pioneer would have been entitled to a total of more than $26m under 18 forward freight agreements (FFAs) agreed between September 2007 and July 2008.
