Pangaea Logistics Solutions purchased the remaining 50% stake in a joint venture that owns two newbuilding bulkers that were just delivered from Oshima Shipbuilding.
The Rhode Island-headquartered dry-bulk operator and bulker owner also revealed that the company that bought a key charterer out of bankruptcy has signed onto the long-term contract of affreightment that had been in doubt during the Chapter 11 case.
