Bulker giant Oldendorff Carriers is set to boost its fleet of mini-capesize vessels with the purchase of a quartet from Interorient Shipmanagement of Cyprus amid reports it is looking to sell several ultramaxes in a transaction that includes charterback arrangements.

The baby capesizes bought in an off-market deal are the New Times Shipbuilding-constructed, 114,000-dwt Orient Champion, Orient Crusader (both built 2010), Orient Strength (built 2012) and Orient Sun (built 2013).
