Hong Kong-based bulker owner Ocean Longevity is believed to have acquired two ships as part of an ongoing campaign to acquire secondhand Japanese tonnage as it continues to boost its panamax fleet.
The Kwai Sze Hoi (Gui Sihai)-controlled company also has very large ore carriers (VLOCs) coming off long-term employment and may use them to serve the huge iron ore production volumes of sister company Brockman Mining.
