Norden is looking for significant growth in its dry cargo operating business as it seeks the “best of both worlds” during the market cycles.
The Danish owner split its bulker business in two last year, with the fresh dry cargo operator platform recording a profit of $12m in the second half of 2017.
Jan Rindbo, chief executive of Norden, told TradeWinds the figure was a decent return on a limited amount of risk capital.
