A structural recovery in the dry cargo market remains some way off despite a seasonal improvement in earnings, Norden chief executive Jan Rindbo says.
Norden reported better than expected first quarter results today at the same time as hastening its exit from the capesize sector.
Rindbo told TradeWinds in a post-results interview: “We maintain our outlook and still expect a poor dry cargo market for 2016 – not necessarily at the lows we saw in February.
