A London court has upheld an arbitration ruling that AMN Bulk Carriers is entitled to damages for loss of earnings arising from the failure of charterer, Kuwait Rocks Co, to pay hire due under a contract agreed in 2008.
London arbitrators awarded AMN $13.1m in April last year with this award now confirmed by high court judge, Justice Flaux, who today rejected an arbitration appeal.
