Navigation Maritime Bulgare (Navibulgar) is continuing its fleet expansion with a deal in China for up to six bulker newbuildings.
The order is split into four firm 45,000-dwt vessels and two options, with the investment being at least $100m.
It said the contracts were signed "with one of the top three largest shipyards in China."
Brokers said Chengxi Shipyard had bagged the order.
