Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) says it has agreed a coal transport contract with Thermal Powertech Corp India Ltd (TPCIL).
The Indian company owns and operates a 1,320-megawatt thermal power plant in SPSR Nellore district in India’s Andhra Pradesh state.
TPCIL is owned by Singapore’s Sembcorp Industries and Indian infrastructure development company Gayatri Projects Limited.
TPCIL supplies electricity to the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which are both situated in the south west of India.
