EEX Group has taken another step towards its target of becoming a global commodity exchange through a new agreement with LCH, the biggest London-based clearer of freight.
The Leipzig-based company has struck a deal to novate open positions in the dry bulk freight FFA and option contracts from LCH to its clearing house European Commodity Clearing (ECC) by the end of the year.
