KSC a subsidiary of Samla Midas (SM) Group, outbid four other compatriot shipping companies to win a 25-year long-term consecutive voyage charter (CVC) contract from Korea Midland Power Co (KOMIPO).
A KSC executive confirmed the KOMIPO CVC deal, adding that it is a coastal trade service. KSC is scheduled to transport coals for the Korean utility company between the Boryoung Power Plant and the New Sacheon Power Plant.
