Diana Shipping chartered a newbuidling bulker to Koch for 12 to 16 months.
The New York-listed shipowner said the commodities group will pay $11,750 per day for the 209,000-dwt ship, which is to be named San Francisco and scheduled for delivery by year end.
A 5% broker commission will come out of the Simeon Palios-led shipowner's earnings from the deal.
