In a statement filed with securities regulators in Oslo the bulker, tanker and containership operator said it is poised to pocket approximately $25m in annual turnover from the deal, which will mark the re-establishment of relationship that hit the rocks nearly a year ago.
The company indicated the multi-year contract is large, long-term and involves the shipment of alumina from Australia to Bahrain under an agreement “entered into at market terms” but failed to offer further detail about quantities, duration or pricing.
